GDCH Guwahati is the most prominent government BDS option in NE India. Uniquely, 18 of the 50 BDS seats are reserved as NE Quota — specifically for students from NE states other than Assam (Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim). This makes GDCH one of the few government colleges with a dedicated NE quota, and a strong target for NE students seeking a government dental seat near home. MDS programs are available in 7 specialties through AIQ and state quota.
